Xiaomi has arrived in the Chinese market with another phablet, Xiaomi Mi Max 3. The 6.9-inch smartphone will be available for sale starting at Yuan 1,699 for a 4GB variant. The 6GB variant will cost Yuan 1,999. The phone has got three colours – Meteorite Black, Dream Gold and Dark Blue. No global launch details are known at the moment, but it is expected to land outside China by October 2018.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has a 6.9-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Inside, the phone is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 chipset. The phone has been launched in two different RAM and storage variants – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB.
In terms of cameras, the Mi Max 3 flaunts a dual rear camera setup of 12 and 5 megapixel. On the front, there is an 8 megapixel selfie snapper. Interestingly, the front-facing camera comes with support for face unlock.
Running on Android 8.1 Oreo, the phone packs a mammoth 5,500 mAh battery, which comes with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
